Clarissa Denecke

After completing her master’s degree in European law and European economic law, Clarissa started her career in the renewable energy sector. She has nearly 20 years of experience in M&A transactions and successfully managed buy-side and sell-side transactions as well as project financings. She has held roles across all relevant industry perspectives – as an M&A advisor at Global Capital Finance, an international M&A boutique focused on renewable energy transactions, as an investor at Ampere Equity Fund, a Dutch institutional fund with investments across various European markets, and as a seller at BayWa r.e., a leading global project developer. Over the course of her career, she spent extended periods working in the Netherlands, Italy, and the United States.

Bettina Vennemann

After completing her degree in Economics – including a year abroad in Madrid – Bettina began her career in investment banking at Deutsche Bank, where she gained broad transaction experience through international M&A projects across a range of industries. For nearly two decades, she has been active in renewable energy transaction management, holding key positions at Global Capital Finance, an international M&A boutique with a focus on renewable energy transactions, and at BayWa r.e., a leading global project developer. Throughout her career, Bettina has successfully managed international buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions as well as project financings, taking on responsibilities across multiple functions and leadership levels.
